Language hosts partner with a diverse network of schools including private, semi-private, and public institutions. Together, we’ll explore the options available to you and your child, guiding you through the school enrollment process and resolving any queries along the way. We’ll keep a close eye on your child’s academic progress, attending parent-teacher meetings and providing term reports to ensure they’re thriving in their new academic environment.
Students studying in Irish High Schools are required by schools to nominate a guardian for the duration of their study. Language Host offers this service as part of our Academic programme. Guardians are the first point of contact for parents, students, and the school, maintaining constant availability throughout the academic year.
Below are some of our Guardian’s duties:
Our host families undergo thorough police vetting before welcoming one of our students into their home. Language Hosts Guardians personally visit each host family to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Our hosts come from diverse backgrounds, just like our students. Whether they’re working families with young children, retirees with kids at university, single parents, or childless couples, we understand that every family is unique. That’s why we strive to match each student with a host family that suits their individual needs and preferences
